Lead fast-moving initiatives to improve the learning experience.

Determine strategies for scaling backend systems and codebases.

Provide technical guidance and support to other backend engineers.

Ensure the team makes the right investments to ship features efficiently.

Design, build, and scale high availability production infrastructure.

Work with MongoDB or other databases in production environments.

Collaborate with students, tutors, and the international team to enhance the user experience.

Required

You have 8 years or more experience building and shipping python backend features quickly as part of a team

You’ve tech led teams designing, building, and scaling high availability production infrastructure.

Experience working with MongoDB (or other databases) in production.

A passion for learning. You fearlessly dive into new and unfamiliar technologies.

A product-minded approach to engineering. You should be excited about working directly with our students, tutors, and our international team to make sure students have an amazing experience.
