Responsibilities

Design and develop well-structured, reusable, and maintainable code for commercial web applications.
Collaborate with the Product and UX team to understand customer requirements and design new features.
Learn and apply new web technologies, industry best practices, and corporate technical standards.
Ensure high-quality work by following coding practices, process improvements, clean designs, smart testing, and review practices.

Required

Experience with Ruby/Rails or Elixir/Phoenix
Knowledge of Test-Driven Development
Knowledge of MySQL/PostgreSQL or other relational databases and ability to write SQL queries
Knowledge or Interest in any QA automation frameworks
Understand design patterns and object-oriented methodologies for web applications
Understand data structure, multithreading, collections, exception handling
Understand web application security
Understand Software Development Life Cycle methodologies like Agile / Scrum
Experience with source control and build tools
Strong debugging and troubleshooting skill
Strong written and verbal skills with the ability to communicate effectively
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred

Prior experience in the Healthcare industry
