Responsibilities

Designs, formulates plans, and supervises construction projects.

Facilitates the required design and documentation of projects.

Assists in cost and personnel estimating as well as proposal preparation.

Supervises the work of junior engineers and participates in project staffing discussions.

Required

Bachelor of Science in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering or related field.

Professional Engineer’s (PE) license.

Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in structural analysis and design of mid to high-rise buildings, including project management.

Ability to perform and supervise the design and analysis of mid to high rise buildings utilizing software packages such as ETABS, RAM, RISA, and SAFE.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and the ability to work in AutoCAD.

Extensive knowledge of local and national building codes and design practices.

Knowledge of standard construction practices and the ability to work with contractors to address construction issues.

Detail oriented with strong interpersonal, problem solving and team skills.

Knowledge of ETABS, SAFE, AutoCad, PCA or other similar design tools.

Preferred

MS degree in Structural or Civil Engineering or related field.
