Responsibilities
Engage and consult with internal stakeholders to identify learning needs. Analyze learning needs and provide recommendations for situationally appropriate training solutions, including but not limited to learning activities, curricula, and training materials.
Create and deliver dynamic and engaging experiences for adult learners, ensuring alignment with learning objectives, training strategies and organizational branding guidelines. Content/experience assessments and evaluations. Analyze and report on results, adjusting as needed for success and improvement.

Utilize instructional design software and learning management tools to create and maintain innovative learning content including scenario and simulation-based content which are professional, accurate and based on effective adult learning delivery methods. Coach training team members on best practices in instructional design. Lead and collaborate with training team members on the development and execution of training solutions.
Manage and update content library and training plans using feedback/evaluation results.
May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned or directed by the supervisor. This may include attendance of and participation in required training for role.

Required
Bachelor's Degree in Instructional Design, Education, or related field of study.
Minimum of 5+ years of experience required.
Strong knowledge of adult learning theory, effective instructional design strategies as well as regulations and best practices related to learning design accessibility requirements (i.e. Section 508).
Demonstrated ability to design, develop, implement, deliver and facilitate innovative, high-quality, engaging scenario/simulation based in-person, blended and e-learning content which meets pre-determined learning outcomes. Ability to provide critical analysis of learning gaps.
Ability to guide the development process from initial concept to final implementation and evaluation, including creation of clear and concise storyboards, graphics concepts, audio scripts, user interactions, navigation, and other related elements.
Ability to manage several complex projects simultaneously while working under pressure to meet deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to interact with all levels of employees and management. Ability to work independently as well as partner effectively in a team environment.
Strong ability to demonstrate flexibility and attention to detail, meet deadlines, and learn new and complex subjects quickly.
Strong analytical, problem solving and customer service skills, with a focus on using a consultative approach to relationship management and customer satisfaction, computer proficiency and technical aptitude, including working knowledge of MS Office tools, Learning Management Systems and strong knowledge of rapid development/production tools (i.e. Articulate Storyline, Review, Adobe Creative, Camtasia).
Must have an Instructional Design portfolio.
Lifting: Requires lifting materials up to 25 lbs.
