Responsibilities
Help create the sense of psychological safety, enabling teams to try and learn new areas of technology.
Solve technical problems of the highest scope and complexity for the entire organization.
Collaborate with and lead other architects and engineers to create and document standards and patterns.
Drive innovation across engineering with a willingness to experiment and confront problems of immense complexity and scope.

Ensure standards for style, maintainability, and best practices are suitable for the unique problems of scale and diversity.
Drive significant improvements for ease of development and technical efficiency through effective collaboration and technical contributions.
Provide mentorship for engineers, with a focus on helping them grow in their responsibilities.
Share expertise across the entire organization.
Ship high-impact features and improvements with minimal guidance and support.
Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders and business stakeholders in the development of strategic plans.
Provide comprehensive analytical thinking to ensure transformation costs, impact, and value are properly understood and controlled.
Collaborate with customers, vendors, industry consultants, and senior company leadership to identify opportunities to advance business strategy.
Define the technology roadmap and architecture to accelerate cloud initiatives.
Understanding of business process design methods and tools is a plus.
Strong situational analysis and decision-making abilities.
Ability to tailor communications to the C-suite level.

Required
Master’s degree preferred. Minimum Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
12+ years relevant business and IT experience
3+ years of experience of working in the healthcare industry is desired
5+ years of architecture practice experience
Expert engineer who champions and continuously drives the advancement of the architecture operating model, governance, processes, policies, standards, and framework for the Developer and Employee Experience capability
Creates, refines and puts into practice repeatable architecture frameworks and processes to enable complex cross-functional initiatives related to major business initiatives
Provides vision and strategic direction and application for one or more architecture domains (business, information, application and technology)
Develop and maintain strategies and solutions for the enterprise in collaboration with executive leadership across the business and IT
Possesses the excellent interpersonal skills necessary to articulate the value of a strong enterprise architecture function to critical business stakeholders
Advanced knowledge and experience with cloud technologies, defining technology standards and implementation roadmaps for one or more of the following: Azure, Google Cloud Platform, Amazon Web Services
Demonstrated proficiency in understanding enterprise architecture life cycle methodologies
Preferred
3+ years of experience of working in the healthcare industry is desired
Understanding of business process design methods and tools a plus
Strong situational analysis and decision-making abilities
Ability to tailor communications to the C-suite level
