Responsibilities

Support developing and delivering substation physical electrical package for transmission and distribution station projects from 4kV to 500kV with quality, schedule, and safe design in mind.

Work under direct mentorship of Sr. and/or Lead engineer and designer preparing substation electrical package including but not limited to - Station One Lines, General Arrangement/Key Plan, Section & Elevations, Grounding, Lighting, Lightning plan design and studies, Conduit and Cable Raceway, Control Building, Equipment Specification, BOM, Bid evaluation and all related calculations, studies, and reports

Contribute engineering & design support developing Renewable projects (Solar, Wind, BESS) projects.

Prepare Equipment Specification, BOM, Bid evaluation and proposal support.

Maintaining close coordination and help other relevant Arcadis Business Units and Practices for cross selling and cross staffing opportunities.

Required

A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering

Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical engineering and design experience

Knowledge of applicable industry standards including the National Electric Code (NEC), National Electric Safety Code (NESC), and IEEE

Proficient in AutoCAD or MicroStation; Able to execute and delivery projects under supervision of Sr. and/or Lead engineer
