Responsibilities

Direct all phases of programs from inception through completion

Drive program execution to achieve key business and financial objectives

Participate in contract negotiation and preparation of proposals

Act as primary customer contact for program activities

Establish design concepts, criteria, and engineering efforts

Monitor adherence to master plans and schedules

Identify program problems and obtain solutions

Required

Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience; Or, Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience; Or, in lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience

4+ years of direct program management experience

4+ years of Technical Program Management or equivalent leadership capacity

Preferred

Strong project management skills

Experience with Earned Value reporting and tracking

Ability to work effectively as the primary customer point of contact

Ability to interface internally and externally at all levels including senior management

Proven track record as a team leader with a proactive approach to Program Management

Willingness, ability, and aptitude to take ownership of a program with minimal oversight

Ability and desire to make a positive impact on this business

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Demonstrated capability to think strategically and execute tactically

Demonstrated influencing skills

Must be able to portray compelling reasons for change as Program/Project priorities dictate

Outstanding communication (both verbally and written), negotiation, organizational, and leadership skills
