Responsibilities
Assist project teams in completing engineering design of various sized electric infrastructure projects for public-owned and investor-owned electric utility customers
Be responsible for overall project performance and reporting
Manage project costs, schedule and scope, including the development of recovery plans to stay within approved limits
Ensure contract compliance
Drive work products by coordinating and working with Engineering Leads and Managers to track and execute client deliverables
Ensure and document adherence to the quality control process
Interface directly with the client and internal management to solve issues and report progress, costs, schedule adherence and risks across a program of projects
Communicate with clients, internal project teams, multiple engineering disciplines, functional leaders, subcontractors, and support personnel
Assist with the preparation of bid documents, development of cost estimates and responses to Requests For Proposal
Complete monthly client invoicing, accruals, and accounts receivable within prescribed time frames
Assist your team in identifying potential business development opportunities

Required
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, Finance or a closely related discipline is required
A minimum of 3 years of relevant Project Management experience
Demonstrated Experience with project management software (e.g., Workfront, MS Project, P6)
Experience with MS Office Software (Word, PowerPoint, Excel); Ability to demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookup, etc) required
Demonstrated experience managing project financials, scopes, and schedules
Previous Experience working with various contract types including Fixed Price and Time & Material
Must have the capability to plan, organize, direct, and track technical efforts on project tasks
Must have the capability to understand, plan, monitor and report project financial performance
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi-task effectively
Preferred
PMP Certification is preferred but not required; Ideal Candidates will have a desire to obtain PMP Certification within two years
Direct experience with utilities
Previous exposure to projects for major US electric utilities
Demonstrated success with a team approach to the consulting business
Advanced use/expertise in Excel preferred
