Responsibilities

You will follow the IATA CUPPS Specification to develop an industry leading CUPPS platform for passenger processing.

You will become familiar with other industry Fast Travel Initiatives.

You will gather requirements.

You will design, develop, enhance, and install the software applications.

You will implement unit and automated tests cases.

You will participate in future product planning and direction.

Required

Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience

Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. RTX will not offer sponsorship for this position

Prior experience programming using JAVA with Eclipse

Demonstrated understanding of SOAP and XML within Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) framework

Prior experience developing multi-threaded applications

Preferred

Web-based application development, and experience in both client and server-side programming paradigms

Ability to effectively communicate the merits and drawbacks of various technical solutions in addition to devising innovative solutions for abstract challenges

Ability to describe and have some level of experience with DevOps, DevSecOps and CICD methodologies
