Responsibilities

Creates marketing proposals, either independently or under direction of others (depending on the complexity of the proposal).
Creates marketing collateral for interviews and other presentations, and manages the interview process.
Creates and updates marketing collateral including resumes, project pages, brochures, and other textual and visual materials.
Conducts research on potential clients, leads, and projects.
Assists with development and implementation of pursuit strategies, under direction of others.
Engaged in business plan development and supporting marketing collateral.
Uses Salesforce as reference for SOM project facts and contributes to data maintenance.
Develops working knowledge of A/E/I services offered by SOM, with knowledge of regional portfolio.
Contributes to training of Marketing Coordinators, at an introductory level.
Involved in professional associations and/or industry associations as needed.
Assists with other duties and tasks as may be required.

Required

Completion of four-year undergraduate degree or equivalent knowledge, skills and abilities.
2-4 years experience in marketing within the A/E/C industry.
Strong writing and graphic design skills.
Strong organizational skills.
Strong project management skills.
Ability to work with senior leaders across a firm.
Advanced knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Microsoft Office, and Google Workspace.
Keen interest in marketing and the architectural and engineering industry
Experience with Salesforce CRM and OpenAsset is a plus.
Ability to work and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
