Responsibilities

Utilize database technologies to design, develop, and evaluate analyses and innovative business intelligence tools and reporting.

Perform DEI-specific data extracts and build data pipelines to develop reports and dashboards.

Conduct detailed data driven analyses to uncover DEI business trends or drivers of changes in the DEI metrics.

Create scalable, efficient, automated processes for large scale data analyses, model development, model validation, and model implementation.

Lead projects or components from start to finish including project management, data gathering and manipulation, synthesis and modeling, problem solving, and communication of insights and recommendations.

Build business intelligence (BI) solutions – data sets, queries, reports, dashboards, analyses – or components of larger solutions to answer business questions with data.

Troubleshoot data, analyses, and code, research root causes, propose solutions, and take ownership in next steps for their resolutions.

Required

10+ years of professional or military experience

5+ years of SQL experience

Experience programming to extract, transform and clean large (multi-TB) data sets

Experience with theory and practice of design of experiments and statistical analysis of results

Experience with AWS technologies

Experience in scripting for automation (e.g. Python) and advanced SQL skills

Preferred

Experience working directly with business stakeholders to translate between data and business needs

Experience managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership

Experience collecting and reviewing demographic data across multiple countries

ETL automation experience

Experience working with data in building data pipelines, reports, dashboards, and analysis

Experience with AWS technologies including Redshift, RDS, S3, EMR

Experience/familiarity with A to Z mobile app

Experience/familiarity with Clarity

Advanced skills in data visualization tools like QuickSight or similar BI tools

Ability to draw insights from data and clearly communicate them to the stakeholders and senior management in clear easy to consume formats

Experience conducting large scale data analysis to support business decision making
