Responsibilities

Develop and execute annual marketing and campaign plans to engage internal and external constituents.
Create compelling marketing campaigns across various channels to reach target audiences.
Maintain accurate network-wide brand assets and ensure consistency across all marketing materials.
Conduct market research and analysis to inform marketing strategies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align marketing efforts.
Showcase student activities and successes across all departments.
Assist with event planning, branding, and marketing opportunities.
Cultivate relationships with media contacts, influencers, and community partners.
Oversee the creation and production of marketing collateral.
Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns.
Stay current on industry trends and recommend innovative strategies.
Manage marketing budgets and expenditures.
Develop and oversee all elements of the external editorial communications calendar.

Required

Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
Minimum of two (2) years of experience in marketing, preferably in the non-profit sector or a related field.
Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing campaigns and initiatives, with measurable results.
Experience with digital marketing and social media platforms and comfort with learning new platforms.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messaging for different audiences and channels.
Strong understanding of email marketing, and able to set strategic engagement metrics.
Ability to understand web analytics and other measurable KPIs.
Passion for and commitment to the mission and values of Public Prep, the nonprofit sector, and education equity.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

Preferred

Experience with video editing.
Experience with graphic design and website software (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite– such as Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator).
Creative thinker with a keen eye for design and attention to detail.
