Responsibilities
Lead Change Management and Project Management processes.
Be responsible for the success of Service Implementations.
Work with all layers of the business to ensure Service Availability and Service Capacity meet the defined Service Level Objectives.
Provide Technical Leadership for Event Management, Incident Management, and Problem Management.
Monitor and regularly report on Incident Management metrics.
Participate in Service Strategy, Service Design and Service Transition processes.
Configure, test, troubleshoot, deploy, and validate operations of network equipment supporting customer facing services.
Work directly with Sales, Installations and Support staff to ensure service implementations meet the needs of the business.
Configure, test, troubleshoot, deploy, and validate operations of network equipment supporting corporate enterprise services.
After a successful probationary period, you may be eligible for a flexible work schedule, as long as you meet your goals and deadlines.
Occasional local travel required.
Take part in 24/7 on-call rotation.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Required
Associates degree; relevant college experience required.
CCNP-SP, JNCIP-SP, or other comparable network certifications are highly desired.
5 to 7 years of relevant experience; Minimum of 5 years of experience in advanced network and voice implementations.
Minimum of 5 years of experience with Cisco and/or Juniper Switching, Routing, and Security products in a Telecom Service Provider environment.
3+ years of project management experience
Demonstrated experience with internal (IS-IS/OSPF) and external (BGP) routing protocols in a Telecom Service Provider environment.
Demonstrated experience with deploying telecom services such as VoIP, QoS, DIA, MPLS, VLANs, etc.
Proven project management skills in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Experience with Service Management and Governance/Compliance frameworks such as ITIL, NIST 800-53, etc.
Access to reliable transportation required. Candidates with a valid driver's license and knowledge of the DC Metro area are preferred.
Excellent time management, analytical skills, attention to detail and technical writing proficiency.
Preferred
Experience with fiber optic technologies such as DWDM/CWDM a plus.
