Responsibilities

Lead the design of strategic projects that deliver substantial value to patients and impact multiple departments, including clinical and operational teams.

Conduct user research with patients to deeply understand their needs and inform product strategy and direction.

Choose the appropriate level of design support to help push a project forward - whether that be a quick wireframe, in-depth service blueprint, or detailed prototype.

Facilitate design sessions with various teams to help collect a broad swath of ideas from colleagues across the company.

Drive design decision-making through close collaboration with product, engineering, clinical, and operational counterparts.

Advocate for the needs of patients every step of the way.

Required

6+ years of experience designing and delivering high quality, consumer facing product features or services in organizations working in complex problem spaces

Proven track record of independently leading thoughtful user research processes that directly inform product strategy and design direction

Demonstrable systems-thinking skills, connecting product and operational changes to meet the needs of users

Strong communication skills, especially when describing complex research and design concepts to audiences who may not be that familiar with design

Portfolio required demonstrating the design work you’ve done — including the problem you were trying to solve, how you approached it, and the outcome
