Responsibilities

Excellent programming skills particularly Python coding skills (Pandas/NumPy).
Monitor news, events, index announcements as well as and market changes for index members.
Knowledge of statistics as well as statistical knowledge and ease of working with and analyzing large databases for purpose of quantitative modeling.
Build and maintain Excel-based financial models.
Formulate mathematical or simulation models of problems, relating constants and variables, restrictions, alternatives, conflicting objectives, and their numerical parameters.
Perform validation and testing of models to ensure adequacy; reformulate models as necessary.
Building and updating comp sheets.
Managing the databases and electronic services (i.e. Bloomberg, FactSet, etc.).
Meet the special projects demands of the senior level Research Analysts.
Use all resources to determine and locate relevant data.
Build industry knowledge and contacts.

Economics, Accounting, Finance, Securities Analysis - knowledge of economic, accounting, and financial principles and practices, the financial markets, the industry, the analysis and reporting of financial data, and associated terminology.
Minimum required: Bachelor's degree.
Minimum required: 2 to 4 years of Financial Services or relevant industry experience and/or proven experience at the Associate I level.
Proficient in Python, Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
