Sales Account Manager

Responsibilities
Daily interaction with existing agency and direct client business; management and stewardship of client schedules on television and online, tracking client audience delivery, merchandising the station, and providing high-level customer service.
Work with Consumer Insights strategist and AE’s/TEGNA sales for creation of PowerPoint presentations, implementation of ideas and strategies, and creation of presentations for Account Executives.
Partner with designated Account Executives in developing new/incremental revenue through prospecting.
Demonstrate proof of performance for customer campaigns, including production and providing clients with broadcast posts and digital recaps.
Assist Account Executives with maintenance of contracts, make-goods, and overall customer service.
Participate in meetings with Local Sales Manager and Account Executives, client meetings, and work with Sales Assistants on makegood maintenance and order entry.
Collaborate with all departments in the station for sponsorships and promotions, coordinate with Traffic Department for accurate scheduling, and facilitate execution of digital campaigns.
Communicate with Digital Sales Specialist regarding campaign pacing, digital recaps, and web analytics analysis.

Required
Related experience in television and digital account management or client services, preferably within the advertising industry
Working knowledge of Wide Orbit, PowerPoint, Excel, Word
Ability to work effectively as part of a team as well as independently.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects effectively under deadline pressure.
Creative and able to adapt quickly to change.
Position requires strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong organization and time management.
