Responsibilities

Translate business and IT strategy into technology solutions

Design IT architecture and artifacts

Develop, evaluate, and update IT architecture strategy and landscape roadmaps

Contribute to business prioritization, planning, and optimization initiatives

Guide evaluation and selection of strategic technology

Forecast outcomes of technology decisions

Lead continuous improvement of IT architecture

Collaborate with cross-functional U.S. and global stakeholders

Required

Master’s in I.T., C.S., Data Science, Business Analytics, or closely-related field & 8 yrs experience

assessing IT target architectures, component technologies, and service-oriented architectures in an enterprise environment

designing, implementing & troubleshooting IT architecture and networking and security solutions

working with SQL & RDBMS databases and system design

designing & developing data warehouses

gathering business requirements

using architecture models & frameworks to support business and technology design decisions

evaluating risks & opportunities of new and emerging technologies and presenting recommendations for company use based on data and metrics

developing proof of concepts for new technologies

implementing automated operational control checks on data quality

developing & implementing logical and physical data models

using Agile & Lean methodologies and enterprise architecture frameworks for solution design

collaborating with cross-functional teams to test new processes and/or methods

creating & maintaining design and code documentation using GitHub, Haystack and/or a related data repository

Preferred

Bachelor’s in said fields & 10 yrs progressive post-Bachelor’s stated experience

Telecommuting permitted up to 3 days per week from location within reasonable commuting distance of Whippany, NJ
