Responsibilities

Own and drive content and messaging for keynotes and other strategic company and industry events

Work closely with executive leadership, product, and GTM leaders to ensure initiatives come together into a consistent story

Deliver materials that articulate Confluent’s value to different personas based on their understanding and awareness of Kafka, Flink, and data streaming

Partner with design and production teams to deliver high-production value events

Provide guidance to marketing and content teams on key narratives

Contribute to strategic marketing initiatives like new branding efforts and product launches

Required

10+ years of product and/or technical marketing experience with specific experience building compelling, high-production value keynote content

Proven track record of working directly with C-Suite/senior leadership team members to create and refine materials

Exceptionally strong communication skills, with an understanding of how to create a consistent narrative that works at different technical altitudes (developers and architects through to executives and press)

Ability to lead cross-functional teams with team members across multiple company areas, including marketing, product management, engineering, sales and investor relations
