Responsibilities

Direct project team, ensure client compliance with contract terms, and monitor sub-consultants’ compliance with contractual commitments.

Meet with clients to direct project requirements and obtain all information to prepare project documents.

Has primary responsibility for scheduling, planning, design, specification, and working drawings on a given project with authority to direct, control, organize, interpret, and monitor all activities.

Prepare project work plan, schedule and budget, and communicate these to project team members; monitor/manage project production for compliance with schedule, budget and quality objectives.

Monitor reports and schedules to ensure appropriate charging of man-hours, costs and expenses to projects, and to communicate project progress/status to senior management.

Monitor sub-consultants’ progress and performance; review and approve sub-consultant and vendor invoices.

Schedule and coordinate project meetings with the project team, regulatory agencies, the client, and others involved with the project.

Coordinate and participate in project presentations to clients and other external groups, and promote firm’s capabilities, marketing its services among existing and prospective clients.

Supervise technical professionals and design staff.

Required

Must have, at minimum, a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture; Master’s Degree a plus

Must have Architectural or NCARB registration (preferably Florida, or the ability to obtain Florida registration quickly)

10+ years of experience in Architectural project management

Must be proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, Sketchup 5+ years

Advanced-level competency in Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred

LEED accreditation preferred

Bilingual (English and Spanish) a plus
