Responsibilities

Apply knowledge of engineering to design freeways, interchanges, roadways, streets, intersections, roundabouts, and other transportation-related infrastructure.

Direct and/or perform engineering calculations from preliminary to final design.

Direct and/or develop plans, specifications, reports, and cost estimates.

Methodical approach to problem solving and completing project requirements, while working as part of a team or independently.

Clearly communicate through drawings, documents, reports, and verbal exchange.

Coordinate with other disciplines to identify and mitigate potential conflicts.

Perform and coordinate plan reviews to ensure accuracy and quality of work.

May conduct site investigations, as well as other responsibilities associated with this position.

Manage and maintain project documentation.

Assist project managers with assignments as needed.
