Responsibilities

Work closely with the UX Design Lead and Art Director to conceptualize the overall UI esthetic while maintaining an intuitive user experience.

Create a unique, and engaging visual identity that supports and reinforces gameplay.

Create and implement a large array of UI components which includes maps, icons, HUD, menus, basic effects, and animations.

Apply and maintain a consistent art style throughout the entire project interface.

Collaborate with a team of engineers in the implementation of UI components.

Actively maintain file and resource organization.

Required

Experience working as a UI artist in a digital field.

Strong art skills to 2D render and paint various types of materials and surfaces.

Ability to work in the painterly style of World of Warcraft.

Able to understand technical implementations and limitations.

Good communication skills and a positive team-player attitude
