Responsibilities
Support a federal health client in leading, coordinating, and executing the transformation of the public health data ecosystem.
Visualize complex data insights to drive strategic decision-making and work closely with clients to ensure completeness and accuracy.
Apply advanced analytics techniques to mine large datasets, uncover relationships, and craft compelling narratives and visualizations for diverse audiences.

Required
3+ years of experience with using advanced analytical methods, storytelling methods, and data visualization tools to develop data-driven narratives
Experience with the D3.js library, including data binding, selections, transitions, and layout modules
Experience with JavaScript frameworks and libraries
Experience with programming languages, including Python, R, or SQL, for data manipulation and analysis
Experience in data analysis, statistical modeling, and working with large datasets
Ability to create complex, interactive data visualizations using D3.js
Ability to simplify complex concepts and distill information into coherent and compelling narratives, making it accessible to a broad audience
Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
Bachelor’s degree
Preferred
Experience working in public health
Knowledge of user research methodologies
Ability to be a self-starter, pay strict attention to detail, and multitask across multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Ability to stay current with emerging data storytelling best practices
