Responsibilities
Collaborates across IT, legal practice, and other business areas to oversee projects. Examples include development and roll-out of new software programs, systems and infrastructure tools;
Engages with stakeholders to gather requirements and discusses ideas to support their needs;
Communicates user needs effectively to IT personnel and works jointly to design and implement project solutions;
Creates roadmaps, project plans, business requirements, test plans/scripts, and other deliverables to ensure that solutions are complete and accurate;
Plans and manages projects by identifying tasks, resource delivery timelines, milestones, deliverables, and success metrics;
Addresses challenges to project success, including proactively identifying risks, developing mitigation strategies, and communicating with stakeholders;
Keeps projects on schedule using PM tools and techniques, including timelines and calendars;
Leads project status meetings with customers, stakeholders and project teams on a regular basis;
Researches and understands new and emerging technologies that are relevant to business needs;
Understands how stakeholders and customers conduct business and discovers ways to improve their processes, as well as the tools they use;
Conducts active follow-ups on project status and operational tasks;
Ensures that project and operational task updates are incorporated in relevant tools in a timely manner;
Creates and monitors metrics, usage reports and other measurements to evaluate effectiveness of information platforms and content;
Performs other duties, as assigned.

Required
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
Minimum 5+ years managing IT or legal practice technology projects
General understanding of IT systems, networking and computer software
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools
Proficiency with IT project management disciplines (Waterfall, Agile, SDLC, etc.)
Strong communication, problem solving, time management, and teamwork skills
Creativity, enthusiasm, strong analytical skills and eagerness to take on responsibility and learn new skills
Ability to manage priorities and adjust projects based on customer or management feedback
High level of personal responsibility for delivering an excellent project management experience
Ability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic, 24x7 technology department
Availability to work additional hours, as needed
Preferred
Experience in Legal, Financial or Technology Consulting industries preferred
Knowledge of Legal industry-specific software applications preferred, such as: document management, knowledge management, document review, contract analysis, enterprise search, time tracking, etc.
