Responsibilities
Design, develop, implement, test, document, and operate large-scale, high-volume, high-performance data models, reports/dashboards/BI solutions for analytics and deep learning.
Provide reporting and analysis using business intelligence tools and a logical abstraction layer against large, multi-dimensional datasets and multiple sources.
Design, develop, optimize, and maintain data architecture and pipelines that adhere to ETL principles and business goals
Construct and deliver analytics product roadmaps that deliver insightful and user-friendly dashboards for both internal stakeholders and clients.
Implement data ingestion routines both real time and batch using best practices in data modeling, ETL/ELT processes.
Partner directly with product, media, and consulting teams to anticipate the data infrastructure and tooling needs of the organization and proactively build solutions that fuel insights.
Gather business and functional requirements and translate these requirements into robust, scalable, operable solutions that work well within the overall data architecture.
Proactively assess the data needs of internal teams and external clients with technical teams to deliver proof of concepts, QA data sources, and deliver new data tables, metrics, and analytics products
Proactively monitor existing metrics, propose new metrics, and work across the organization to deliver actionable intelligence.
Own and continually improve metrics documentation and data governance
Document technical details of your work using industry standard protocols inclusive of Jira and Confluence

Required
BA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field
Advanced knowledge of SQL and data modeling
7+ years of experience building automated data warehousing environments for production reports or tables. Familiarity with Redshift, Snowflake DWH’s and S3 or similar data lakes preferred.
5+ years’ experience with data visualization tools inclusive of Tableau and familiarity with Looker, Quicksight, or similar visualization platforms.
3+ years of work experience in building self-serve BI solutions, canned reports and enterprise level BI solutions.
3+ years of experience with data modeling in large Data warehousing, data lake environment
2+ years of experience on Python/ R or similar coding languages
Advanced ability to draw insights from data and clearly communicate them to the stakeholders and senior management as required.
Be self-driven, and ability to deliver on ambiguous projects with incomplete data.
Knowledge of data management fundamentals and data storage principles.
Strong written and verbal communication skills are required as this role will interface directly with cross-functional teams to roll out new tools, communicate data infrastructure changes, and share analytical findings with executive leaders.
Ability and interest in working in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.

Experience in gathering requirements and formulating business metrics for reporting
Preferred
Experience building on AWS QuickSight and ElasticCache
Experience with statistical models and building predictive models from scratch
