Responsibilities
Assist the Project Manager in developing comprehensive project plans, including work breakdown structures (WBS), schedules, and resource allocation requirements.
Coordinate and manage project logistics, including the procurement of critical data center infrastructure components such as servers, network switches, storage arrays, and power distribution units (PDUs).
Support the creation of detailed project timelines, Gantt charts, and milestone tracking.
Track and monitor project progress using project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, Trello), ensuring that tasks are completed on schedule and within budget constraints.
Maintain accurate project documentation, including detailed project plans, risk registers, meeting minutes, and action item logs.
Prepare comprehensive project status reports and dashboards, updating stakeholders on key project milestones, potential risks, and mitigation strategies.
Schedule and coordinate project meetings, technical workshops, and executive presentations to ensure efficient communication and collaboration among team members and stakeholders.
Facilitate effective communication among project team members, stakeholders, and vendors, ensuring all parties have the necessary technical specifications and project requirements to perform their roles.
Collaborate with data center operations teams to ensure the seamless integration of new capacity additions with existing infrastructure, including network topology, cooling systems, and power management.
Assist in risk identification and mitigation activities, including conducting regular risk assessments, developing risk response plans, and monitoring risk triggers.
Collaborate with the Project Manager to ensure adherence to project governance frameworks, change control procedures, and quality assurance standards (e.g., ITIL, ISO 27001).
Monitor project expenses and budgets, working closely with the finance team to track capital expenditures (CapEx) and operational expenditures (OpEx) related to the project.
Provide administrative support to the Project Manager, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and organizing project-related documentation in SharePoint or other document management systems.
Assist in preparing project presentations and technical reports for internal and external stakeholders, including data center capacity planning and utilization reports.
Contribute to the development and improvement of project management processes and templates, promoting efficiency and consistency across data center projects.
Participate in lessons learned sessions and post-project evaluations to identify areas for improvement and best practices, ensuring continuous improvement in project delivery.

Required
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration) or equivalent work experience.
Minimum of 2+ years of experience in project coordination or support roles, preferably in data center or technology-related projects.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic data center environment.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in completing project-related documentation and technical tasks.
Proficiency in project management software and collaboration tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, Trello).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and technical stakeholders at all levels.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing project requirements and priorities, particularly in a data center context.
Preferred
Knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and best practices is advantageous.
Familiarity with data center infrastructure, capacity planning concepts, and operational workflows is a plus.
Experience with procurement and vendor management, particularly for IT hardware and data center services, is beneficial.
Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) to create project reports and presentations.
Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or related certifications are a plus.
Exposure to logistics operations and processes within data centers is advantageous.
