Responsibilities

Combine program management, engineering fundamentals, and hazardous testing experience to anticipate roadblocks and act to prevent them with a bias for action.
Demonstrate customer focus and align the needs of customers with the team's capabilities.
Produce high-quality schedules and project plans to build the foundation for the team's success in meeting strict deadlines.
Identify inefficiencies in processes, deficiencies in testing capabilities or quality, and safety concerns and lead their improvement through collaboration with stakeholders.
Deliver on-time test results and data safely, representing the team's capabilities and talent through customer focus.

Required

B.S. Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Operations Management, Engineering Management or similar
2+ years’ experience program, business, or project management in a development environment
High level understanding of aerospace component testing (types of tests, test-life-cycle, etc.)
Experience leading multidisciplinary development projects, including managing requirements, priorities, scope, schedule, and cost
Able to quickly build and navigate a professional network within a new organization, including with Responsible Engineers, buyers, other project managers, and other support personnel
Excellent written, communication and presentation skills
Experience with Project Management Tools such as MS Project, P6 Primavera or similar
Aptitude for hands-on problem solving, with a passion for spacecraft systems
Comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Self-starter, strong bias for action and sense of ownership
Attention to detail and high level of accuracy

Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion
Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum

Preferred

MBA or M.S. in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, or systems engineering
Experience with launch vehicle development, production, and operations and aerospace qualification test programs
Experience with verification, integration, and test, of orbital launch vehicles or human rated spacecraft
Demonstrated success working with suppliers to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery of high-quality products
Knowledge of fluid components such as valves, regulators, actuators, servo-valves, flexible elements, and fittings, as well as test specific instrumentation
Program Management Professional (PMP) certification and Earned Value Management System (EVMS) experience. Experience with critical path scheduling, IMP/IMS, risk management, requirements management and Cost Account Management such as EVM
Experience building tools for Data Analytics with SQL, Excel Power query, or Tableau
Strong business management acumen and experience interfacing with large, geographically dispersed programs with large subcontractors
