Responsibilities

Provide leadership to Geotechnical Engineering community and Mining Sector Team

Act as or become an Engineer of Record (EoR) on appropriate projects

Support delivery of Global Industry Standard on Tailings Management services

Represent Arcadis to external teams and clients using excellent communication skills

Define project goals, constraints, and manage external inputs for engineering project teams

Perform geotechnical engineering reviews and provide key input on critical projects

Develop effective solutions to clients' challenges using engineering principles and mine operations understanding

Required

B.S. degree in civil or geotechnical engineering or closely related field

Professional Engineer (PE) license

Minimum 15 years of experience

Limited travel is required (10%)

Preferred

Post graduate degree in civil or geotechnical engineering or closely related field

Direct experience with geotechnical modeling software such as GeoStudio, RocScience, FLAC, PLAXIS, etc.

Working knowledge of Autodesk Civil 3D, Arc Map, or similar geospatial software

Spanish language proficiency not a requirement but a plus to work with international teams
