Required

Can use different query languages like SQL or NoSQL (Elasticsearch, DynamoDB, etc) to collect, clean, manipulate, and transform data

Proficiency in Python, particularly libraries like pandas, NumPy, and scikit-learn. Familiarity with R may also be beneficial.

Strong experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries such as TensorFlow, Keras, Scikit-Learn, PyTorch, and OpenCV.

Strong foundation in statistical concepts like hypothesis testing, A/B testing, regression analysis, and probability distributions.

Strong experience with different ML models (clustering, classification, regression, preprocessing);

Understand how common deep learning ML models work (Deep Neural Network, Recurrent Neural Networks, Transformers), with different domains (text, images, tabular, time series).

Hands-on experience throughout entire ML process: from data collection and transform, to model training and evaluation, to model deployment.

Basic software engineering skills: with Python can build APIs serving ML models and APIs that transform data, can interact with AWS, Kubernetes, Linux, bash

Skills to create clear and informative visualizations to communicate insights to both technical and non-technical audiences. Expertise in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Matplotlib.

Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Familiarity with SDLC, Agile, and issue tracking. Experience with version control systems like Git.

A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a data science role

Master’s or Ph.D. in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.

Preferred

Nice to have: experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or similar.

Nice to have: Familiarity with healthcare data standards, regulations, and best practices, is a plus.
