Responsibilities
Promote library programs, events, and resources through various marketing channels.
Create visually appealing marketing materials using graphic design software.
Collaborate with the Dean of College Libraries to develop and implement marketing strategies.
Support student engagement and academic success through effective communication and promotion of library services.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Assist in event planning and coordination to enhance student involvement.

Required
Minimum of a High School diploma.
Demonstrated experience in graphic design and marketing, preferably in an educational or library setting.
Proficiency in graphic design software such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator).
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
Preferred
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or related field.
Experience with content management systems (CMS) for website maintenance.
Familiarity with principles of web design and user experience (UX).
Knowledge of library operations and services.
Experience with event planning and coordination.
