Responsibilities
Independently deploy, configure, and update edge switches.
Deploy, maintain, and manage campus telephone system: SIP, PRI, and VoIP.
Maintain host name servers and their IP addresses including DNS and DHCP.
Resolve escalations on end-user telephony and networking issues.
Configure, deploy, and troubleshoot wireless access points and controllers.
Collaborate with the Network Team to ensure network security and connectivity.
Provide end-user support for network issues based on business priorities.
Assist in deploying and maintaining core switches.
Maintain VLAN and IP address schemas.
Be on-call 24x7 for emergency network issues.
Mentor Junior Network Administrators and Student Assistants.
Ensure efficiency, security, reliability, usability, and scalability of network equipment.
Manage day-to-day administration of Campus Switches, Routers, and Firewall.
Research and make recommendations to improve networking standards and processes.
Define network policies and procedures, and document completed projects.
Maintain VoIP Call Center, hunt groups, and call routing.
Troubleshoot complex network issues with minimal intervention.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Required
4 Year/Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent experience.
Ten years of experience working with IP networks and supporting systems.
Three years of experience working with Extreme Networks, Aruba, Cisco (or equivalent experience with similar hardware/software).
Experience with Palo Alto firewalls, Palo Alto Global Protect VPN and Cisco VPN including remote implementation, troubleshooting, and problem resolution (or equivalent experience with similar hardware/software).
Cisco Catalyst family of switches, enterprise networking and routing: 5 Years.
IP networks and supporting systems: 8 Years.
Extreme Devices and Hive Manager: 3 Years.
Palo Alto firewalls and Cisco VPN: 3 Years.
Remote implementation, troubleshooting, and problem resolution: 5 Years.
