Responsibilities
Work on developing and maintaining applications on Python web frameworks, specifically Pyramid, and some applications in Java.
Collaborate with project owners, front-end engineers, and systems team to ensure stress-free deployments.
Support various aspects of company operations including content management, data ranking products, and other business applications.

Required
Familiarity with relational databases, such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL, or MS SQL Server
Familiarity with dynamic languages, such as Python, Perl, or Ruby
Familiarity with Unix-based operating systems, such as Linux or Mac OS X, along with the shells and command-line tools available in those environments
Strong oral and written communications skills
Preferred
A 4-year degree
Experience with Python web frameworks, such as Django or Pyramid
Experience with source control systems, such as Git or Subversion
Experience developing against and/or creating JSON based APIs
AJAX experience
