Responsibilities
Prepare technical documentation and diagrams to communicate solution architectures.
Architect resilient infrastructure prioritizing performance, availability, and cost-effectiveness.
Oversee daily operations, providing guidance and escalation support.
Develop and maintain cloud standards, best practices, and templates for various technology solutions.
Lead engineering and operations change management, driving project and program planning.
Design and build large-scale, high-performing, secure Kubernetes, and other application platform infrastructure.
Align solution implementation with enterprise architecture and business strategy.
Participate in solution design reviews to ensure alignment with cloud architecture, strategies, and principles.
Collaborate with software product development, architecture, and IT teams to ensure releases follow repeatable and auditable processes.
Assist in architecting, designing, and implementing cloud-based IaaS, PaaS, CaaS, and SaaS solutions.
Design, develop, and implement automation to support continuous delivery and continuous integration solutions.
Automate code deployment in Microsoft Azure through Infrastructure-as-Code.
Govern Azure cloud infrastructure using Azure Policy, Blueprints, and Azure Defender for Cloud.
Develop automated methodologies for deployment activities, configuration management, and supporting systems and business processes.
Analyze and contribute improvements to deployment processes proactively.
Drive compliance and security efforts related to managed systems.
Teach and mentor team members, fostering their professional growth and development.

Required
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field.
Certifications Required: Certified Azure Solutions Architect
5+ years of relevant job experience.
Experience with advanced Linux administration, including network stack, TCP/IP, DNS, filesystems, resource scheduling, and process management.
Deep Understanding of Kubernetes, container management and orchestration, microservices, network architecture and internal components on how traffic flows within pods, between clusters, load balancers, and the internet.
Proficiency architecting, implementing, and supporting Microsoft Azure infrastructure and topologies.
Experience configuring and tuning cloud hosted solutions and platforms.
Experience with performance analysis, troubleshooting and remediation techniques.
Experience with identity and access management, governance tools, encryption and key management principles, and secure cloud design patterns.
Experience with networking principles and technologies (DNS, Load Balancers, Reverse Proxies).
Multi-region and Disaster Recovery experience.
Proficient in developing infrastructure through Terraform.
Experience with Azure Policy and Blueprints.
Must be organized and detailed oriented with the ability to work independently on multiple tasks.
Excellent communications and analytical skills.
Knowledge of Agile development lifecycles.
