Responsibilities

Support the development of open architectures, applications, infrastructure, and cloud platforms for optimal cloud deployment.
Adopt Cloud best practices and technologies like DevOps, Big Data/Analytics, AI, and Micro-Services.
Architect, design, develop, troubleshoot, and implement corporate cloud solutions.
Collaborate with IT Security team to ensure secure and compliant solutions.
Interface with customers at various organizational levels.
Work independently with minimal supervision, reporting task status.
Generate preliminary and detailed designs for enhancements or modifications.
Provide technical briefings and apply industry design concepts.

Required

5+ years of hands-on experience in a specific technology practice (Infrastructure, Network, Storage, Servers, Security, Windows, Linux, etc.) for both on premise and cloud resources
2+ years network and operating system experience
2+ years’ experience in cloud container management technologies like Kubernetes or Openshift
Architect and deploy AWS infrastructure solutions, leveraging services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and IAM to meet scalability, performance, and security requirements.
Lead the design and implementation of AWS cloud-native applications, adhering to AWS best practices and ensuring high availability and fault tolerance.
Provide expertise in AWS technologies, guiding the team in designing, deploying, and managing cloud environments, optimizing costs, and improving operational efficiency.
Experience scaling and deploying applications to the AWS cloud
Experience using and deploying RDMS, NoSQL, or Graph databases
Experience managing/implementing server/clients with Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) Platforms and Federation Services (NetIQ, ADFS, Azure MFA, Keycloak , Redhat SSO, Duo, SAML, etc.)
Experience using a source code repository such as BitBucket , Mercurial, GIT, or Subversion
Experience using a defect management system such as Bugzilla, JIRA, or Fogbugz
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Must have well refined troubleshooting skills, ability to determine the root cause of a problem and identify and resolve systemic problems.
Ability to perform technical briefings to various groups and engineers
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems.
Experience with Agile development methodologies
MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN
Bachelor’s degree in relevant field (e.g. Computer Science, Software Development, IT Systems Engineering)
Active TS / SCI Clearance is REQUIRED

Preferred

Multiple years of experience deploying containerized web applications to cloud and on-premises infrastructure.
Multiple years of experience with container management technologies like Kubernetes, Docker, and Openshift.
Experience scaling applications based on user demand
Experience working with service-based architectures and Web APIs
Experience with HTML, HTML5, CSS, XML, XSLT, and JSON
Experience working and deploying on DOD networks including NIPR, SIPR, and JWICS
Experience with migration of on-premises applications to a cloud provider
Administration experience on Microsoft Enterprise CA – Cert Requests/Monitoring
Administration experience on Microsoft Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS)
Familiarity with Information Assurance programs is a plus
Microsoft PowerShell Scripting for Server/Platform management
CompTIA Cloud+
Amazon Web Services Certified Solutions Architect — Professional
