Responsibilities

Experience in civil engineering ranging from roadway, drainage, utility design, or land development experience.

Preparation and review of engineering design plans and specifications.

Coordinating activities of engineering projects to ensure that goals or objectives are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters.

Ability to work across various disciplines to produce complete projects.

Oversees and can participate in work involving the preparation of design using local standards at both conceptual and final design levels.

Initiates and prepares proposals.

Maintains positive relationships with current and past clients as assigned.

Other duties as assigned.

Required

Experience in civil engineering ranging from roadway, drainage, utility design, or land development experience.

The position requires design, technical knowledge, and ability in applying principles of engineering.

Preparation and review of engineering design plans and specifications.

Coordinating activities of engineering projects to ensure that goals or objectives of these projects are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters.

Ability to work across various disciplines to produce complete projects.

Oversees and can participate in work involving the preparation of design using local (State, County or City) standards at both conceptual and final design levels.

Initiates and prepares proposals.

Maintains positive relationships with current and past clients as assigned.

Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering required

EIT license required or FE exam passed

Have solid computer skills and experience using PDF, BlueBeam, and MS Office programs

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Exercise initiative and display independent judgment

Be self-directed and self-motivated

AutoCAD Civil 3D or Microstation

Manage various tasks on several concurrent projects and must be able to follow these tasks through to completion within the allocated period of time and the monetary budget assigned
