Responsibilities
Develop and maintain secure and efficient networks for the Department of Defense.
Troubleshoot and resolve network issues to increase security, reliability, and availability of mission-critical network systems.
Apply knowledge in routing and switching, encryption gear integration, network design, IP engineering, and more to support DoD's evolving needs.
Serve as a trusted advisor on mission-critical projects and optimize client operations with industry standards and emerging technologies.

Required
5+ years of experience with networking hardware and software
5+ years of experience operating DoD networks
Experience with LAN/WAN interfacing, security, internet protocols, and TCP/IP
Experience with engineering data, voice, and video networks
Experience with network monitoring tools
TS/SCI clearance
HS diploma or GED and 8+ years of experience working in a professional environment, or Bachelor's degree
Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Certification
Preferred
Experience maintaining a secure transfer of data to multiple locations via internal and external networks
Experience working with vendors, the government, carriers, and technical staff on network implementation, optimization, and ongoing management
Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) Certification
