Responsibilities

Create and maintain a roadmap for delivering high-impact insights to internal and external clients

Invent innovative ways to answer key business questions using data assets

Lead the product life cycle through planning, execution, and future development

Act as a trusted advisor on business data and analytical techniques

Coach and mentor product managers and data scientists on best practices

Own product performance and invest in enhancements to achieve business objectives

Monitor market trends, conduct competitive analysis, and identify opportunities for product differentiation

Required

10+ years of experience or equivalent expertise delivering products, projects, or technology applications with a focus on delivering data products and/or direct data science experience

Bachelor’s degree in relevant quantitative field required (e.g. Statistics, Economics, Applied Math, Operations Research, Physics, Data Science fields)

Thought leader in data science and/or analytics who can help our internal clients define their business problems, create data products to address them, plan and execute the implementation

Experience across broad range of modern data science and analytics platforms, languages, and tools (e.g., SQL, Python, Hive, Hadoop, Spark, R)

Extensive knowledge of the product development life cycle, technical design, and data analytics and proven ability to influence the adoption of key product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management

Experience leading teams with a proven track record of driving value for the business

Experience and impact change within organizations and managing stakeholders across multiple functions

Preferred

Financial services or economics background preferred, but not required

Advanced degree in a related field
