Responsibilities

Drive and maintain a safe working environment through accident prevention, investigation, equipment maintenance, and policy enforcement and compliance.

Develop and implement strategic goals and initiatives in alignment with business objectives.

Collaborate with the Planning and Production Control department in the scheduling of production and deliveries.

Lead and coordinate sourcing of special materials requiring engineering specifications to ensure competitive costs and lead times.

Oversee the initial engineering phase, working closely with sales, design, and manufacturing teams to translate customer specifications into viable engineering solutions.

Lead team of engineers responsible for the design and development of custom electrical products and provide technical support throughout the product lifecycle.

Drive BOM accuracy in SAP and complete product design documentation.

Evaluate technical feasibility and resource requirements for proposed projects, conducting risk assessments and providing recommendations.

Develop and implement streamlined processes and best practices to improve efficiency in the front-end engineering phase.

Required

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering or a related field.

5+ years of Engineering experience.

3+ years experience in the manufacturing industry.

2+ year experience in management position.

Preferred

2+ year of product, customer service, inside sales, or proposals experience in a technical field.

Experience in manufacturing Bills of Materials and Routings.

Experience using ERP (SAP proffered) and quotations systems.

Knowledge of electrical power products and systems.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for customer interactions.

Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
