Responsibilities

Uncover, document, and track product defects
Design, write, and execute test cases using established test design techniques
Build and monitor test environments
Log status into tracking software
Act as product technical liaison between support and development teams
Ensure that releases adhere to a high standard of quality
Coordinate with internal departments to deliver seamless services to external customers

Required

Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or similar discipline
Excellent customer service and written/verbal communication skills
Familiarity with MSSQL
Ability to analyze complex relationships and configurations and clearly summarize results
Strong attention to detail and a desire to “get things right”
Ability to quickly learn a robust software application
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced dynamic environment with changing priorities
Ability to develop strong working relationships with colleagues across departments and seniority levels
Ability to critically think and communicate when the opportunity arises
Ability to manage a project and drive it to completion

Preferred

Familiarity with Jira/Confluence is a plus
Experience with Agile development practices is a plus
Working knowledge of ONIX
Familiarity with the book publishing industry
