Responsibilities

Coach and review the work of the web development team.
Quality control of activities related to architecting, development, deployment, and maintenance of the secure web presence.
Monitor that the design and user experience matches the style and format of the Government-operated program website.
Work collaboratively with the Director of Programs and Health and Wellness to identify requirements for evidence-based or evidence-informed, interactive resilience tools available within the secure web presence.
Monitor and identify ongoing needs for interface changes or upgrades to stay in alignment with the Government-operated program website and be responsive to evolving online services needs.
Collaborate with the Government and the Government's third-party contractors to ensure that the program public-facing websites link to secure web presence.
Responsible for developing and maintaining the IT Integration Plan that describes how the web presence will be designed, secured, and maintained in accordance with the defined specifications.
Responsible for creating and managing a disaster recovery plan and solution (i.e., RTO).
Determines direction and focus of projects and enhancements scheduled for internal/external program websites.
Manages projects designed to increase value and usability of web site.
Develops and evolves the information architecture of the program web site. Works with web team members to improve workflow and processes within the group.
Manages web design and production teams to create and implement online page layouts and graphics of high-quality, interactive visual designs.
Consults with business users regarding web information delivery to determine which publishing technologies best meet the organizations' needs.
Responsible for the design and development of website content including web applications and website or SharePoint engineering.
Support level duties may include the maintenance of internal/external facing web pages, SharePoint administration, reformatting of text, assuring hyperlink integrity, file transfer, and translation and posing of new material to the page involving HTML scripting.
Develop, coordinate and administer content changes in a timely manner to web sites as approved by Change Control Board (CCB)
Format and layout provided material (e.g. graphics, text, video, headings, pullouts, links, instructions or other applicable navigation or organizational aids)
Ensures sites maintain optimum performance and security; works with systems administrator to ensure consistent uptime
Performing various quality control activities and documentation procedure updates.
Responsible for strict following of customer-provided web standards.
The ability manage time and be mindful of priorities.
As part of an agile team, the candidate will participate in sprint and release level team activities, and technical exchange meetings in support of program objectives.
Additional work may be required to support development team activities during automation integration activities, this may involve interaction with government and other contractors to build a successful working product and the collaborative troubleshooting of issues.

Required

Bachelors degree and 4 – 8 years of prior relevant professional web development experience or Master’s with 2 – 6 years of prior relevant professional web development experience
Experience and familiarity developing web content in a DevSecOps environment a plus
Language proficiency: HTML5/CSS, XML and JavaScript
Self-starter, paying strict attention to detail
Ability to multitask across multiple projects and in a fast-paced, team-based environment
Understanding of UI, cross-browser compatibility, general web functions and standards
A natural problem solver
Strong communication and interpersonal skills Excellent communications, organizational, and reporting skills
Must have the ability to obtain a Tier 3 security clearance. US Citizenship is required
This position is a remote position and requires a quiet, private, confidential space to work from as well as having access to your own reliable high-speed internet hard wired to your home or apartment (coax or fiber from the Internet Service Provider (ISP) to your home. Using a hot spot from a mobile device (tethering) or wireless ISP is not acceptable
