Responsibilities

Collaborate closely within a group based in Santa Clara, CA.

Develop and support VLSI libraries for advanced process technologies. This will involve developing and maintaining technology files and VLSI library development flows.

Develop flows to ensure the quality of VLSI library views across different tools.

Write scripts using Python, Perl, and Tcl to manage and automate VLSI library data creation and validation.

Work with CAD tool vendors to evaluate new tools, seek bugs, improve usability, etc.

Develop infrastructure to support design work in new process technologies.

Required

B.S or M.S. in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience)

10+ years of proven experience preferred

An understanding of VLSI design and place and route flows, CMOS processes, and CAD concepts and environments

Experience with Python, Perl, Tcl, C++. Web development and SQL experience also highly valued

Excellent programming skills

Excellent interpersonal skills

Preferred

A passion for improving development flows and VLSI library quality is a plus
