Responsibilities

Designing and developing database solutions and data models.

Implementing coding languages such as Python, Java, or Spark, integrating them with backend database platforms.

Deploying and managing database technologies like SQL or Mongo.

Working with big data technologies including MapReduce, Accumulo, HBASE, Cassandra, or Elastic.

Leveraging containerization technologies like Docker or Kubernetes.

Leading small to medium-scale projects throughout their lifecycle, collaborating with team members and documenting progress.

Mentoring junior team members, facilitating training, and guiding users in formulating requirements.

Conducting feasibility studies and estimating resource requirements for software tasks.

Required

Proficiency in database development, design, and data modeling.

Experience with coding languages such as Python, Java, or Spark.

Familiarity with database technologies like SQL or Mongo.

Knowledge of big data technologies including MapReduce, Accumulo, HBASE, Cassandra, or Elastic.

Ability to work effectively within a team environment and lead projects.

TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.

Bachelor's degree in CS, Computer Engineering, or Information Systems with 4+ years of experience in software development, Master's degree with 2+ years of experience, or 8+ years of experience in lieu of a degree.
