Responsibilities

Support Index Analytics Government clients in the Baltimore and Washington D.C. Metro Area.

Support enterprise-level solutions on the Salesforce platform, following the architectural plan and best practices.

Collaborate with architects, managers, and business users to support development activities.

Work within an agile environment in 2-week sprints.

Identify opportunities for out-of-the-box solutions instead of custom development.

Develop Salesforce communities using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Aura, and Web Components with JavaScript and CSS.

Collaborate with business analysts and technical teams, and maintain work accountability within the sprint team.

Troubleshoot the existing Salesforce application, optimize the code base, and focus on test-driven development.

Understand application requirements quickly and convert user stories to technical tasks.

Perform administrative functions such as data loading using XL-Connector.

Maintain and reuse existing custom code or configurations.

Required

US citizen, or lived in the US for 3 of the last 5 years.

Ability to obtain Public Trust level clearance

Bachelor’s degree required or four years of relevant work experience as a substitute.

Minimum of 3 years of development experience in Salesforce.

Salesforce Platform Developer I Certification Required.

Experience using standard objects, custom objects, workflows, validation rules, process builders, flow, and approval process with triggers in Salesforce.

Ability to work on multiple projects and help prioritize work and manage deployment risks.

Experience with JavaScript, Java, and HTML.

Familiar using IDEs such as Eclipse (or) Visual Studio.
