Responsibilities

Converting designs and concepts into reality in a pragmatic fashion

Integrating internal and external applications via RESTful APIs and gRPC

Writing unit tests and conducting code reviews to ensure software quality

Contributing to project planning and scrum meetings

Assisting in maintaining legacy systems when necessary

Producing detailed architectural and technical plans

Required

Experience developing and maintaining modern front-end applications React, Typescript, ES6+.

Experience in multiple programming languages, (Python, JavaScript, Go, Perl)

Experience with Relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.)

Ability to work effectively both individually and in a distributed team environment.

Ability to handle multiple projects and switch quickly and comfortably between projects as needed.

Preferred

Experience working on systems related to warehouse management or manufacturing.

Experience with NoSql databases (MongoDB, Cassandra, etc.)

Experience with web programming frameworks such as React JS, Django, etc...

Experience with enterprise-ready container platforms such as Docker or Kubernetes

Experience with message broker services such as Redis, RabbitMQ, beanstalkd, etc.

Experience in cloud services such as AWS.

This position is operating remotely on a distributed team and requires approximately 25% annual travel to our fulfillment centers in: Las Vegas, NV, and Louisville, KY.
