Responsibilities

Plans and implements individual and group Creative Arts Therapy programs appropriate for the setting
Provides case management to program patients
Carries a caseload and coordinate Case Management as defined by the setting
Assesses status of patients, assists patients in problem identification and realistic, disposition oriented treatment planning
Follows patients progress
Makes treatment plan recommendations
Coordinates all treatment for caseload
Makes specific program and treatment recommendations regarding the creative/expressive needs of patients
Develops and implements, through documentation and protocols, the types of treatment appropriate to area of specialization
Develops and adapts treatment goals and modalities for patients unable to tolerate group interactions
When credentialed and/or adequately supervised, may conduct group therapy or other specialized treatment modalities
Documents patient progress in a neat, clear, and timely fashion following the units standards for documentation
