Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and enhance software applications using Java and Python.
Design, implement, and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
Work on public cloud environments, with a preference for Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Apply knowledge of machine learning and generative AI to enhance application capabilities.
Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Work onsite at least three days a week from AEDR-PHX.

Required
A minimum of 10 years of experience in software engineering with proficiency in Java and Python.
At least 8 years of hands-on experience with major programming/scripting languages such as Java and Python.
Strong experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
Familiarity with public cloud services, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Knowledge or experience in machine learning and generative AI is preferred.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
Preferred
Previous experience working with American Express (Amex).
