Responsibilities

Scrum Master will serve as a subject matter expert and coach their team(s) on Agile values and practices

Identify opportunities for improvement and provide recommendations

Promote a collaborative team environment that fosters experimentation, creativity, and innovation

Promote an environment of continuous improvement

Ensure team(s) meet commitments to delivery based on velocity

Align team to delivery goals and processes

Facilitate meetings and discussions

Address impediments to team success

Track and communicate team metrics and sprint/release goals

Assist with internal and external communication, improve transparency, and radiating information

Work autonomously and influence team behaviors and practices based on Agile process

Actively look for feedback on performance

Recognize opportunities for teams and individual improvement and provide recommendations including individual performance concerns

Work collaboratively with all levels of management and teams

Required

High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree (BA) from four-year college or university, preferred

Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or equivalent certification preferred

4+ years of relevant experience working with teams as a Scrum Master or equivalent role

Verifiable knowledge of Agile practices and Agile methodologies

Knowledge and ability to handle conflict resolution

Strong oral and written communication skills

Professional demeanor and appearance

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Ability to influence change and foster a positive work environment

Preferred

Experience as a project manager and PMP certification a plus

Experience with Program Increment planning is a plus

Financial services experience is highly desired
