Responsibilities

Develop and oversee administrative procedures and operations.
Oversee office inventory and the ordering office supplies, equipment, etc.
Provide support to the Plant Superintendent and other Maintenance Supervisors as needed.
Respond to requests for information and provide support to Central Office of Property Supports and Emergency Services staff.
Create and maintain presentations, spreadsheets, and database applications.
Create forms, correspondences, and word processing applications.
Set up meetings and webinars using Microsoft Teams, WebEx, and Zoom platforms.
Prepare materials for meetings, distribute event invitations, and facilitate webinars.
Take meeting minutes and track follow-up items as needed.
Develop a working knowledge of the Property Supports and Emergency Services work order program and perform data entry tasks and retrieve information as needed.
Answer telephone and direct calls.

Required

Two years of experience in administrative support, including use of office software, provision of customer service, business writing, and/or office administration
Must pass a keyboarding test demonstrating the ability to enter text at a rate of at least 30 words per minute with at least 96% accuracy by completion of probation
Certification (e.g., IAAP Certified Administrative Professional) or associate’s degree in office administration, secretarial science, administrative assistance, paralegal, business technology, or office technology substitutes for two years of experience
Candidates must be reachable for appointment on Current Civil Service Eligible List for this title
