Responsibilities

Work closely with the engineering team to develop and deploy scalable applications using Java and the Spring Framework.
Utilize AWS services such as Lambda, SQS, SNS, Kinesis, S3, DynamoDB, Elasticsearch, API Gateway, and CloudFormation.
Develop containerized services using Docker and Kubernetes.
Handle support requests, troubleshooting, and monitoring using tools like Splunk and Datadog.

Required

Must have a bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
Must have at least 5 years of experience in the field.
Must have hands-on experience developing with Java and the Spring Framework.
Must have hands-on experience with AWS cloud infrastructure as well as different AWS services such as Lambda, SQS, SNS, Kinesis, S3, DynamoDB, Elasticsearch, API Gateway, CloudFormation.
Must have hands-on experience developing containerized services using Docker and Kubernetes.
Must have hands-on experience with NoSQL databases as well as with relational databases.
Must be proficient at dealing with support requests and/or troubleshooting.
Must have experience with monitoring tools like Splunk, Datadog.

Preferred

Experience deploying Java based applications on AWS EKS Clusters is a plus.
Experience building low latency and high throughput transactional services with continuous integration and automation testing is a plus.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments is a plus.
Be comfortable multitasking and prioritizing tasks is a plus.
Great interpersonal and excellent communication skills (written and verbal) is a plus.
