Responsibilities
Monitoring daily activities in production units, ensuring compliance with route card instructions and customer requirements.
Liaising with customers on the forge shop floor to ensure their expectations are met.
Recording and monitoring aerospace/nuclear forging production, specifically metal soak times and temperatures.
Conducting daily production checks of forging furnaces and overseeing the furnace survey schedule.
Coordinating with the Instruments department on any furnace-related issues.

Required
Material Science/Material engineering degree or similar
Strong team player with a solid understanding of metallurgy and material processing
Proactive and practical approach with excellent communication skills
Experience in mechanical testing and adherence to international and customer specifications
Willingness and capability to train into a forge/heat treatment management role
Preferred
Training on FLT and OH Crane
Experience working in Forging
