Responsibilities
Collaboration with other disciplines within the firm to support and advance electrical and controls aspects of water, wastewater and architectural improvement projects
Application of electrical design principles to guide the development of plans and specifications for capital improvement projects
Lead and support the technical development and design performed by a team of staff engineers
Guide staff engineers throughout the process of construction submittal reviews
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or closely related discipline
10-20 years of consulting engineering experience with power and control system design/construction
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
Experience being the lead engineer on projects and managing/mentoring staff level engineers
Self-motivated and eager to learn
Water/Wastewater municipal experience in a consulting environment
Proficient in preparation of plans and specifications related to power distribution, lighting, control systems, etc
Preferred
Professional Engineering License in New York State
